Our Mission

Food businesses on Shopify deserve tools designed specifically for how they operate. Generic product customizers force restaurants, meal prep services, and specialty food shops to work around limitations that don’t exist in their industry. FoodFlex was built to eliminate that gap.

We combine visual meal building, real-time nutrition calculation, allergen tracking, dynamic pricing, kitchen display integration, printer auto-printing, delivery dispatch, Shopify POS, multi-location management, and subscription management into a single Shopify app. Every feature is designed for food — not adapted from general-purpose commerce tools.

The Problem

Food businesses were underserved on Shopify

Existing Shopify apps treated food like any other product. Restaurants couldn’t show meals being built visually. Meal prep services couldn’t display real-time nutrition. No app combined customization, nutrition, allergens, and kitchen operations in one tool.

The Solution

Purpose-built for food commerce

FoodFlex was designed from the ground up for food businesses. Visual meal building with layered images, real-time nutrition calculation across 7 nutrients, 9 FDA allergen tracking categories, dynamic pricing with conditional rules, a kitchen display system with printer integration, Shopify POS extension, DoorDash and Uber delivery dispatch, and multi-location management.

The Launch

Available on the Shopify App Store

FoodFlex launched with a free tier (3 customizable meals), scaling through Basic, Professional, and Enterprise plans. Every feature was built on real food business workflows — from quick-service restaurants to multi-location meal prep operations.

Growing

Expanding the platform

Since launch, FoodFlex has added Shopify POS integration, multi-location management, kitchen printer auto-printing, DoorDash and Uber delivery dispatch, Cloudinary CDN image delivery, webhook subscriptions, BullMQ background job processing, nested categories, product sync, and contextual onboarding.
